This Hamlet is my favorite of the three Hamlet remakes that i enjoyed. This Hamlet seemed more realistic and seemed the closest to the actual play. In this movie, it starts off with the ghost scene. It had a scary tone to it which made it a bit dramatic. It was also kind of dark. The other remake of Hamlet, directed by Franco Zefferelli, was alright. Seemed closer than Halmet directed by Mike Almereyda because the one directed by Almereyda was more modern.Monday, May 9, 2011
